吉云村隶属涵江区庄边镇。村子原称吉凤，1962年吉官与云洋两村并为一村，各取一字，改称吉云。[1]

村内云洋自然村的云峰宫大殿是莆田市第九批市级文物保护单位。2024年1月，村子被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后，此地先后属10区的吉官乡和满长乡，1956年归白沙区吉凤乡，之后随吉凤公社，1965年才划归庄边公社，设吉云大队。1984年底改设庄边乡吉云村，1992年起为庄边镇辖村，2002年后属涵江区。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

云峰宫大殿位于云洋自然村，建于清代，同治三年（1864）重建。大殿坐西朝东，面阔五间，宽11.66米，进深五柱，带前廊。[1]
