广山村旧称霞溪，土地改革时改为现名。村庄以蔬菜种植获得福建省“一村一品”专业村的认定。[1]

村落原名霞溪，土地改革时改称广山，村址周围山岭环绕。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，村落属莆田县白沙乡广山村委会；1988年改属莆田县白沙镇；2002年起属涵江区白沙镇。[3]

文化[edit]

广山村先后获得以下荣誉：2021年3月，被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，同月还被认定为「2022年度莆田市中级版“绿盈乡村”」；2022年12月，被福建省农业农村厅确定为「2022年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（蔬菜）；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
