梅洋村隶属福建省莆田市涵江区萩芦镇，位于镇域山区，四周群山环绕。[1]

村子处在山上，中间一块平地形如梅花，原名梅阳；莆田人称平地为「洋」，村名后改为梅洋。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

涵江江氏民居位于本村新厝自然村，为清末御史江春霖的故居，2009年被列为福建省文物保护单位。[3]

昭灵宫位于本村，始建于明代，清代重建，属涵江区第八批区级文物保护单位之列。[2]

莲谿墓位于本村，建于清光绪十一年（1885年），墓主江莲谿是江春霖的父亲。[2]

茶叶是村内的主要作物，以铁观音为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1965年，村子为莆田县萩芦公社的梅洋生产大队；村委会于1984年设立，当时隶属莆田县萩芦乡。1993年属萩芦镇，2002年起属涵江区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，梅洋村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2020年11月，被认定为「2020年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2021年3月，被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。2022年9月，它被福建省农业农村厅推介为「2022年福建省美丽休闲乡村」；2023年12月，被认定为「2023年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（茶叶）；2024年6月，列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
