历史沿革[edit]
1979年以前叫林美大队；1984年以后这里成为林美村委会，归萩芦乡。1993年起属萩芦镇，2002年起属涵江区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年3月，林美村被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。2024年1月，它获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。2024年9月，林美村被认定为「2024年莆田市“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为枇杷。[1]
