萩芦村隶属福建省莆田市涵江区萩芦镇，临萩芦溪，秋南公路与大江公路经过本村。[1]

村名的来历是：村中有一条溪，秋天溪边长满芦苇花，故名萩芦。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立时村地属崇林乡；随后一段时间，先在十二区林美乡，又转入梧塘区林美乡。1958年后经涵江公社林美大队、崇林公社萩芦大队，最终在萩芦公社下设萩芦大队。1984年设萩芦乡萩芦村委会，1993年归萩芦镇，2002年改隶涵江区。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村内的大桥据博雅地名网称为莆田最早的水泥桥。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，萩芦村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2020年11月，它被认定为「2020年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
