洪南村隶属福建省莆田市涵江区萩芦镇，位于镇域东部，与梧塘镇接壤。[1]

村名取自原先的洪展村与南山村：两村合并后，各取一字作为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，村子先隶梧塘区的灵慈乡，过后转入太平乡。1958年并入洪亭大队，1961年划到崇林公社名下，改称洪南大队；1965年归萩芦公社。1984年末设萩芦乡洪南村委会，1993年归萩芦镇，2002年改隶涵江区。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，洪南村获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
