历史沿革[edit]
村子建立于清代。新中国成立后这里设双亭大队，1984年12月改称村，归萩芦乡管辖；1993年起属萩芦镇，2002年起属涵江区。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2025年3月，双亭村获得「第七届全国文明村镇」称号。2022年10月，它经福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2021年2月，双亭村列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；同年11月，获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
