松东村位于梧塘镇东北部，距镇政府约2公里，东接东南村与九峰村，北靠山岭，与萩芦镇相邻。村名取自其位于松树林以东的方位。村落依山岭而建，地形为平缓的山丘盆地，是镇内规模最大的村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立后，此地属松坂乡。1955年改属梧塘区的松东乡，1962年归梧塘公社，设松东大队。1984年12月，它成为梧塘乡松东村委会，1985年3月起改为梧塘镇松东村委会。2002年以后，村委会隶属涵江区梧塘镇。[1]
经济与文化[edit]
龙眼栽培历史悠久，果品收入曾是村经济的支柱，村民加工的桂圆干运销各地。村属的松东林果场创办于1957年。1980年后，村里发现可以开采的石料，并陆续有村民外出经商或到工厂务工。[1][2]
1936年，村中办起松板小学。华侨刘秋亭于1952年带头出资，村民出工，修建了教师宿舍。村中还保留元宵“踏火”的民俗活动。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，松东村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
