历史沿革[edit]
宋元时期隶唐安乡永丰里，明清改属三区永丰里。中华人民共和国成立前为洞潭保的一部分，成立后归洞潭乡。1958年划入涵江公社塘头大队，1961年设洞庭大队，1965年又属涵江公社，1984年改设洞庭村委会，1993年起属国欢镇。[2]
2024年1月，洞庭村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
洞庭宫位于洞庭村头修厝，属古建筑。宫在明代已建，清乾隆六年（1741年）重新营建，同治十三年（1874年）修葺，20世纪80年代又经修缮。建筑坐北朝南偏西，为单进合院式，大殿主祀昊天弟子。2004年列为莆田市市级文物保护单位。[1][2]
