周墩村是福建省莆田市涵江区白塘镇下辖的行政村，地处镇西部，位于福厦公路95公里南侧。全村下辖大度下、上郑、利墩、后郑、周墩5个自然村，共7个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村落四面原为海水环绕，村民聚居在中央一处高出海面的土墩上，因此得名周墩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋元时期，周墩属唐安乡延寿里；明清两代属二区延寿里。新中国成立前属涵江区（2区）大福保，新中国成立后归双福乡。1956年改属梧塘区双安乡，1957年参加双福乡的先进高级社。1958年起称涵江公社周墩大队，1961年改隶集奎公社，1965年又归涵江公社，仍名周墩大队。1984年10月改为涵江乡周墩村委会，1993年起为白塘镇周墩村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2024年1月，周墩村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
