陈桥村是福建省莆田市涵江区白塘镇下辖的行政村，位于木兰溪下游。村中以传统家具加工和手工技艺为主要产业，全村辖7个自然村、11个村民小组。村名源于一座清初建的石桥，村内有五福宫、陈氏祠堂等古建筑。[1]

地名由来[edit]

陈姓先祖自山东迁居此地，开基立业。清初，村中建起一座石桥，村民称之为“陈公桥”，此名逐渐变成村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，陈桥属崇业乡孝义里；明清两代隶属第二区孝义里。民国时期先后归第二区里、埭乡联保、漏里乡管辖，后隶属仁建乡，又属涵江镇陈桥堡。1984年大队改为村，属涵江乡陈桥村；1993年起为白塘镇陈桥村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

五福宫位于陈桥村，始建于南宋宁宗庆元、嘉定年间（1195至1224），由宋赐进士、翰林院修撰陈宗起舍地主持修建；道光十七年（1837）重修，主殿面阔三间，为莆田市第九批市级文物保护单位。宫内存道光丁酉年（1837）匾额两块。[1]

陈氏祠堂附于五福宫，始建于明成化八年（1472），据载由钦差副使何乔新督修，由门厅、天井和正厅组成，为抬梁式木构架。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年9月，陈桥村被认定为「2023年莆田市“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为传统手工技艺。2021年11月，陈桥村获「2021年福建省卫生村」的命名。[1]
