埭里村是福建省莆田市涵江区白塘镇下辖的行政村，位于福厦路98公里处南北两侧，与梧塘镇、西天尾镇毗邻。全村辖六个自然村，即上林、下墩、西江边、蔡东、蔡西、前黄，共13个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村落所在一带原由海滩淤积成平原，村庄位于港边，港边筑有堤岸，旧称“堤里”，后因方言读音转为埭里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代以前，埭里属莆田县武化乡仁德里。民国三十六年（1947）至1949年8月，这里隶属莆田县第二埭里保。1950年4月，埭里所在的乡政权建立，同年7月团组织成立；1952年10月党组织建立，三项均属全县首批。1955年成立高级社，1957年至1967年为涵江人民公社埭里生产大队。1984年改设涵江乡埭里村委会，2002年起属白塘镇埭里村委会。[1]

2024年1月，埭里村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
