杨芳村位于涵江区三江口镇中部，地处望江下游，东临兴化湾。村名由两个旧地名的字组合而成，后谐音雅化为「杨芳」。镇中学设在村内。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋元之际此地在唐安乡望江里之内；明清两代归二区望江里。民国时称杨芳保，解放后设杨芳乡，人民公社时期隶属涵江公社，为杨芳大队。[1]
「文化大革命」期间大队一度改称前卫大队，之后仍归涵江公社管辖。1984年10月设杨芳村委会，隶属涵江乡；1993年起属三江口镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域内辖有8个自然村，西林自然村的曾氏德庆祠即在其中。村庄距镇政府约1公里。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记全村辖16个村民小组，1253户，4876人，并有耕地831亩、旱地251亩，未注明年份。[1]
经济[edit]
村民的收入以经商、外出打工和农田耕作为主。近年村里陆续兴办个体企业，据博雅地名网，村中有7家服装厂。[1]
文化[edit]
2007年底，村中完成饮水安全工程建设，开始通自来水。村内道路已基本硬化，并架设了路灯。[1]
2024年1月，村庄获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
西林曾氏德庆祠在西林自然村，始建时间为清代乾隆至嘉庆年间，2021年局部重修，为单进合院式建筑。[2]
