苍然社区是福建省莆田市涵江区涵东街道下辖的社区。社区古称东山，即紫璜山。因位于盐仓之前，初称仓前；后因“苍”与“仓”在莆田话中读音相近，改称苍前，“苍然”则是苍前的雅称。[1]
2000年8月，涵东村不复存在，其地域分出数个居委会，苍然为其中之一；2002年12月起，此处定名为涵东街道苍然社区。[1]
2021年2月，社区上榜「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2022年12月，被命名为「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
共青团涵江区委旧址在宫下路上，原为涵江中学的教学楼，由涵江商会会长陈杰人创建，1927年底建成。1928年春起，中共莆田县委在涵江中学发展团员、建立团支部；1929年夏县委机关迁到涵江，团涵江区委即设在校内。旧建筑已拆，现仅存一座两层的旧校门门楼，2011年12月由莆田市委党史研究室立碑保护。[2]
