铺尾社区是福建省莆田市涵江区涵东街道下辖的社区。福厦公路修通之前，涵江通往福州的道路要经过顶铺、铺尾和铁灶一带，这一带因而被称为“顶铺尾”，后来演变为铺尾。[1]
2000年8月，原涵东村的村庄改为居委会，名为铺尾居委会；2006年8月，改设为社区。[1]
2021年3月，社区被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」。2023年1月，社区获司法部、民政部命名，列为「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」；同年12月，上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙津社在铺尾路旁，南宋时已建成，明清两朝多次修缮，供奉南宋末年抗元的陈文龙。现存清代抱鼓石一对，还有元代“摩尼教碑”一通，此碑早先竖在凤岭（铺尾自然村）一带，今已断为两段。[2]
