利角村属东海镇，处于镇域西北，紧挨福泉高速公路。全村辖4个自然村、6个村民小组。[2]

村名原作「内角」，因地处山边得名，后改为「利角」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落自宋代已有，1958年属灵川公社，1968年归灵川人民公社革命委员会，1975年改设利角生产大队。[2]

1984年10月起称利角村，隶属灵川乡。1988年划归莆田县灵川镇，1999年改隶莆田县东海镇，2002年起属城厢区东海镇。[2]

经济[edit]

村经济以干鲜果加工、外出务工与农业为主。截至2007年，全村438户，户籍人口1963人。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年11月，利角村被认定为2020年度莆田市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2020年至2022年，利角村连续三年入选淘宝村名单。[1][2]
