榜头村隶属于福建省莆田市城厢区灵川镇，是镇内的一个行政村。村名来自村委会所在的榜头自然村。[1]

名称由来[edit]

村委会设在榜头自然村，村名由此得来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，此地属第五区青山乡，之后先后划入第十五区、第十九区与第十八区，1955年划归灵川区。1957年改由柯朱乡管辖。1961年设榜头大队，隶属青山公社，1965年归灵川公社榜头大队。[1]

1984年10月，原大队改设村委会，归灵川乡辖；1988年10月，改由莆田县灵川镇管辖；2002年2月，再划入莆田市城厢区灵川镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，榜头村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
