青山村隶属于福建省莆田市城厢区灵川镇，是镇内的一个行政村。村中的高地天后宫为莆田市第五批市级文物保护单位。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网的说法，村子的山脉由北面西牛山延伸而来，古时林木繁茂，山脉与村落都呈青色，因此得名青山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，此地属第五区青山村，1950年属第十五区，1952年属第十九区，1954年属第十八区，之后于1955年划入灵川区。1957年，此地是柯朱乡所辖的青山村；次年归灵川公社青山大队，1961年设青山公社，1965年又回灵川公社青山大队。[1]

1984年10月，原大队改设村委会，归灵川乡辖；1988年10月，改由莆田县灵川镇管辖；2002年2月，再划入莆田市城厢区灵川镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

高地天后宫位于高地自然村，又称灵慈祖庙、鳌头宫。宫庙最早建于宋代，元末曾遭损毁，此后于清咸丰二年（1852）得到重建，民国年间又加修葺，供奉妈祖。[2]

2024年，宫庙进行了抢救性维修。该宫另收入福建省第三次全国文物普查名录，已被定为莆田市第五批市级文物保护单位。[2]

2022年12月，青山村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
