何寨社区是福建省莆田市城厢区灵川镇下辖的社区，位于镇中心区。社区名称与明代抗倭的故事有关。[1]

名称由来[edit]

据族谱所载，明代倭寇侵扰沿海，何氏兄弟曾在此筑寨抵御，因抗倭有功，朝廷赐榜表彰，此地遂称何寨。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年解放后，此地先归第五区，后又先后划入第十五区、第十九区、第十八区，1955年并入灵川区。1957年时属蔡厝乡下辖的何寨村，1958年改设灵川公社何寨大队，1961年归何寨公社管辖，1965年又回属灵川公社，1988年改属灵川镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，社区获「2023年福建省卫生社区」称号。2023年11月，社区被认定为「2023年度莆田市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
