铁岭村是霞林街道下辖的行政村，属村庄类。村名由原来的白玉岭村与铁灶村各取一字组成。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此村早先叫白玉岭村。后来它与山上村分开，又与铁灶村合并，两村各取原村名中的一个字，定名为铁岭村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝末期，此地名为铁灶。此后它与莆仔、黄头、玙上、坡头等村组合，称城郊乡莆灶大队，至1961年分开。玙上与铁灶组合后称铁岭大队。1988年，铁岭与铁灶分开，设铁岭村委会。[1]
