北磨社区属于福建省莆田市城厢区，归龙桥街道管辖，城乡分类上属主城区。[1]

社区境内的智泉摩崖石刻刻在凤凰山东北侧的山壁上，石壁呈不规则的方形。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时期此地属莆田县城郊乡。1961年，这里是城郊人民公社下的北磨生产大队；1980年改设北磨居委会，1984年改为城厢区龙桥街道北磨社区居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

智泉石刻又称智泉摩崖石刻，位于北磨社区。石刻所在的崖面宽约4.6米、高约3.2米，刻文分为上下两部分。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年3月，社区被确定为「莆田市第十五届市级文明村镇（社区）」；2022年12月，社区获评「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[1] 2011年，社区党支部被授予优秀基层党组织称号。[2]
