新垵村位于内厝镇政府所在地以东约3千米处。村中自然村有茂前、官塘、面前山、田中央、新安五处。博雅地名网载全村有697户，常住户口2359人，占地6.29平方千米。[1]
地名[edit]
明代，陈姓先祖由金门新头迁来此地，取“安居乐业”之意，村名新垵由此而来。[2]
沿革[edit]
清代属民安里宏鼎保，民国时属民石乡锦田保，1950年属第六区，1955年改属马巷区。1964年析置新垵大队，1984年改为内厝乡新垵村委会，2003年划归翔安区。[3]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名新垵村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
