前垵村位于内厝镇最东部，东与南安市水头镇相邻，南面连接南安市石井镇。村子处于鸿渐山下和国道324线两侧，博雅地名网载其有17个自然村。[1]

地名[edit]
村子位于中部小山的南侧，山南称前鞍、山北称后鞍，方言读作前垵，村名由此而来。[2]
沿革[edit]
清代属民安里宏鼎保，民国时属民石乡。1984年改称前垵村委会，2003年划归翔安区，此后隶属内厝镇。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2021年2月，前垵村入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
