面前埔村是福建省厦门市翔安区新圩镇下辖的行政村，村内以种植业为主。村中有东寺庄、面前埔与深溪3个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：先民旧居虎堀林，与本地隔一条溪。相传明代王道显葬于虎堀林村后，村民梦中得到启示「面前那个埔宜住」，于是迁来此地建村，村名因梦而定。[1]

1943年归公安乡云东保；1950年为第六区祥云乡的辖地。1964年成为新圩人民公社的面前埔大队，1984年改称新圩镇面前埔村。1997年划归同安区，2003年改属翔安区。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办确认面前埔村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年12月，本村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]

2022年9月，福建省农业农村厅推介本村为「2022年福建省美丽休闲乡村」；同年11月，本村列入「2022年福建省金牌旅游村」名单。[1]
