浦边社区是福建省厦门市翔安区金海街道下辖的社区，位于街道东南部，属城乡结合区。社区因位于溪流注入后村港的一侧而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代浦边属翔风里后仓保，民国时改称浦滨保，归振南乡。1950年改属普山乡，1955年改属洪钟区。[1]
1961年设前线公社普边大队，隶盐山公社。1964年并入新店公社。1984年成立村委会，1987年改隶新店镇。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
社区辖浦边、郭厝、石厝、山头4个自然村。郭厝一名得自郭姓冠于地名。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会」授予浦边社区「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
