西滨社区是福建省厦门市翔安区金海街道下辖的社区，位于街道西南部。因村子坐落于海湾西侧，早先称西边，1964年改为今名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代这一带属翔风里东界保，民国时期归振南乡澳头保管辖，1950年起隶第五区澳头乡。[1]
1959年归新店公社的澳头大队管辖；1961年自澳头大队析出，另设西边大队，改属渔业公社。1964年更名西滨大队，回归新店公社。1984年改为村委会。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
社区辖西滨、南美、下店3个自然村。南美原称南尾，方言同音雅化为南美。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，「福建省爱卫办」将西滨社区命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
