历史沿革[edit]
社区前身为清代翔风里的一处保甲单位，民国时期隶属振南乡。新中国成立后先后设浦园乡、浦园大队，并曾属第五区、新店公社。[1]
1984年成立村委会，1987年随新店乡改镇，归新店镇辖。1997年由同安区管辖，2003年改属翔安区。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
社区下辖浦园、林厝、肖厝、林前4个自然村，其中浦园自然村一带明代出过文进士李容与李献可，两人的故里均在此。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年12月，「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会」授予浦园社区「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
