赵厝社区原为马巷镇的赵厝村委会，2006年改为社区，现属民安街道[1]。地名得自早年聚居于此的赵姓。旧村辖赵厝、前厝两个自然村[1]。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名赵厝社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地归民安里十一都前厝保，1943年分属侯牧乡的赵厝与前厝两保。1950年设海滨乡，1959年改为马巷公社海滨大队[1]。1961年另设赵厝大队，隶巷西公社，1964年回归马巷公社；1984年改为后滨乡下的村委会，1987年属马巷镇[1]。
