洪溪社区原为马巷镇的洪溪村委会，2006年改为社区，现属民安街道。地名取洪坑的「洪」与后溪的「溪」合成[1][2]。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名洪溪社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代，此地的洪坑一带隶同禾里五都。民国时期，仑头一带改归侯牧乡管辖。新中国成立后先设洪溪乡，后并入巷西乡，之后又成为马巷公社下的洪溪大队，1961年划归巷西公社，1964年复归马巷公社[1]。1984年后滨乡设洪溪村委会，1987年起隶马巷镇[1]。

著名人物[edit]

仑头村中，明天启年间的兴国知州陈尧宗，以及清道光年间的文举人陈贻孙，都以此为故里。清咸丰年间，武举人陈维成出生于洪坑[2]。
