地名由来[edit]
村中先民大多是从后亭迁来的陈姓村民，村子临近塘厝港口。取名时，「亭」字沿用原居地，「洋」字则寄望子孙日后出洋谋生[1][2]。
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属翔风里十二都的后莲、封侯二保。1943年分属侯牧乡的亭洋、新亭、塘头三保，1950年归山亭乡；1961年另设亭洋大队，隶巷南公社[1]。1984年改为后滨乡下的村委会，1987年属马巷镇[1]。
