地名由来[edit]
此地原名山后亭，也称封侯亭、侯亭，俗称山亭，今社区取其简称「山亭」[1][2]。陈姓先祖陈邕的后人在此建亭阁纪念先祖，亭名封侯，阁名侯阁，合称封侯亭[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属翔风里封侯保。1943年前后归侯牧乡管辖，属新亭保；建国初设山亭乡，1959年改为山亭大队，归马巷公社[1]。村落之后几度在马巷、巷南与东坑公社之间调整，1984年改为后滨乡下的村委会，1987年归马巷镇[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
中共同安县委旧址位于山亭自然村，年代为1928年至1935年。旧址原是颍川陈氏的宗祠，宋代始建，清代重修，后改作侯亭小学的校舍[1]。村旁另有陈仙查烈士墓一座，已列为县级文物保护单位[2]。
