垵山社区位于凤翔街道西部，辖内垵、山头、南边三个自然村，村西海域出产文昌鱼。[1]

地名由来[edit]

社区名取自所辖内垵、山头两个自然村各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代隶翔风里十三都卢山龚保，1943年归振南乡浦南保，1950年设许山乡，1959年改为新店公社鸿山大队，1961年改称垵山大队，归渔业公社；1964年改隶东坑公社，1969年2月回到新店公社。1984年改为垵山村委会，归新店乡，1987年划入新店镇，1997年划入同安区，2003年改隶翔安区，2006年12月改制为社区。[1]

名人故里[edit]

明正德、万历年间，南京大理寺丞林希元与铜山把总林万春，先后以此地为故里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，被认定为「2023年厦门市“一村一品”专业村」（垵山胡萝卜）；2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
