下许社区位于凤翔街道西部，仅辖许厝一个自然村，下许舞狮是街道的非遗文化之一。[1]

地名由来[edit]

许姓一支原住内厝镇后垵，辗转迁至文崎，又迁到此地，因而以许姓命名。下许又别称许厝。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1943年归振南乡厚平保，1950年设许山乡，1959年改为新店公社许厝大队，1964年改隶东坑公社，1969年2月并入新店公社。1980年改设下许大队，1984年改为下许村委会，归新店乡，1987年划入新店镇，1997年划入同安区，2003年改隶翔安区，2006年12月改制为社区。[1]

文化[edit]

下许舞狮列为街道的非遗文化之一。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，下许社区经福建省爱国卫生运动委员会认定，获「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号；2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
