刘五店社区位于凤翔街道西南部，辖刘五店、浦南、桂园三个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传明永乐年间，刘五在此首开五间店铺，村因此称刘五店。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1943年归振南乡刘桂保，1950年设刘浦乡，隶第五区，1955年改归洪钟区。1959年划入新店公社鸿江大队，1964年改设刘五店大队，仍归新店公社。1984年改为刘五店村委会，归新店乡，1987年划入新店镇，1997年划入同安区，2003年改隶翔安区，2006年3月改制为社区。[1]

清雍正年间的武举人、广东惠州千总高华，以此地为故里。[1]
