下后滨社区位于凤翔街道西部，辖下后滨、文崎两个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子先叫后边，民间又称后柄、后溪，文雅的写法是后滨。与马巷镇的后滨同名，故在前面加了一个「下」字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1943年归振南乡厚平保，1950年划入第五区的乐群乡，1955年改归洪钟区，1959年改归新店公社，编入西岩大队，1961年更名和平大队，改由县直渔业公社管辖；1964年改隶东坑公社，1969年回到新店公社。1984年改为下后滨村委会，归新店乡，1987年划入新店镇，1997年划入同安区，2003年改隶翔安区，2006年3月改设社区居委会。[1]

名人故里[edit]

清嘉庆年间的文举人洪联奎，以此地为故里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
