城场社区位于凤翔街道西南部，辖城场、周边、丁亭三个自然村，地铁4号线在此设有城场站。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

原为施姓居住地，称施场；后林姓迁入，改名城场。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1943年归侯牧乡城场保，1950年改称麟凤乡，此后于1956年并入海鸣乡。1959年划入马巷公社仁凤大队，1961年从中分出城场大队，归渔业公社；1964年改隶东坑公社，1969年回马巷公社。1984年起称后滨乡城场村委会，1987年并入马巷镇。1997年划入同安区，2003年改隶翔安区，2006年6月转为社区。[1]

名人故里[edit]

明代文举人林芳春与清代沙县教谕林孝基，都以城场为故里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
