历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属翔风里洪琳湖保，民国时属仁风乡洪前保。1950年称洪前乡，归第五区管辖；1955年划入洪钟区，1959年此地成为新店公社的洪前大队，1984年起称洪前村委会，1987年归新店镇。[1]
1997年后隶同安区，2003年起隶翔安区，直到2006年3月改为社区居委会。[1][3]
村委会辖东莲、前边、大中、山尾、山前、东山与东头7个自然村，共有12个村民小组。1998年时有704户、3117人。[1][4]
福建省爱卫会在2022年12月命名社区为「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[1]

洪前与大中一带，出过明天启年间的文举人康五云，以及清康熙年间任游击的康廷康、康朝。明代正德年间，东莲村出了文进士林馥，他任过工部主事。[4]
