新店社区是福建省厦门市翔安区新店街道下辖的社区，属主城区。社区得名的传说是：早年有人在往返东坑小码头的古道上设茶站，明代洪厝村民迁来开店经商，于是取名新店。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区所在地在清代归翔风里十三都洪琳湖保管辖，民国时隶属仁风乡新店保。1950年设新店乡，1959年成为新店公社下的新店大队，1984年改称新店乡的新店村委会。[1]

社区1997年归同安区管辖，2003年才划入翔安区，2005年2月由村改为社区。[1]

1986年至1988年间，新店镇政府在通往浏五店的公路地带建成「新兴街」，长1.3公里、宽24米，此后成为镇上的商贸和行政服务中心。[2]

福建省爱卫会在2022年12月命名社区为「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
