朱坑社区位于马巷街道南部，城乡分类属村庄。20世纪60年代农田改造时，村里挖出一块约200年前的墓志，上刻「葬于珠坑大路边」，由此可知原名珠坑，后简写为朱坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年属马巷镇，1984年改为后滨乡朱坑村委会，1964年改属马巷公社，1961年属巷南公社，1959年改称马巷公社朱坑大队，1950年称祥湖乡，1943年属仁风乡溪西保，清代属民安里九都宏鼎保。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，本社区获「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会办公室」命名，列为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
