舫阳社区位于马巷街道南部，城乡分类属镇乡结合区。社区沿用原舫阳大队的名称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1997年划归同安区，2003年改属翔安区，1987年属马巷镇，1984年为后滨乡舫阳村委会，1964年属马巷公社，1961年属巷南公社，1959年改为马巷公社舫阳大队，1950年称舫阳乡，1943年属马巷镇舫阳保，清代属民安里十一都市头保。[1]

辖区自然村[edit]

社区辖溪上、下内田、坪边、店头庄和古垵五个自然村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，本社区获「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会办公室」命名，列为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
