后亭社区位于马巷街道北部。辖区内有一条后亭街，社区因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
2004年12月改制为社区，1997年划归同安区，2003年改属翔安区，1984年复归马巷镇。1958年改设后亭居民委员会，1950年设后亭街，1943年为马巷镇后亭保，清代属民安里界头保和马家巷保。[1]
人物[edit]
博雅地名网列出明清两代多位科举出身的人物故里在此，其中有明永乐年间任金华知县的李玹。[1]
荣誉[edit]
后亭社区于2022年12月获「福建省爱国卫生运动委员会」命名，列为「2022年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
