五美社区是福建省厦门市翔安区马巷街道下辖的社区，位于街道北部，城乡分类属镇中心区。社区原名五甲尾，因方言中「尾」与「美」读音相近，改称五美。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属民安里的界头保和马家巷保。1943年划入马巷镇五权保，1950年设五权街，1955年归马巷乡。1958年改设马巷镇五美居民委员会，1984年复属马巷镇，1997年划归同安区，2003年改属翔安区，2004年12月改制为社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，社区被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会办公室命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。2025年12月，社区上榜「2025年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
