历史沿革[edit]
清代此地属同安县翔风里大嶝保。民国时期归金门县管辖，名为嶝西乡田墘保[1]。1950年划入大嶝区嶝西乡；1958年建立田墘大队，归大嶝公社管辖[1]。
1984年改称田墘村委会，编入大嶝乡。2003年并入翔安区大嶝镇，2005年村委会转为居委会，成为今日的田墘社区居民委员会，隶属大嶝街道[1]。
地名由来[edit]
据传郑姓先民自海澄迁来，开垦荒地定居，村子建在田边，因此得名[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
金门县政府旧址位于社区内的田墘北里，由多幢闽南红砖古厝组成。1938年初金门县政府迁至此处办公，直到1945年8月抗战胜利[3]。
荣誉[edit]
2025年12月，社区列入「2025年福建省儿童友好社区」名单[1]。
