侨安社区是五显镇下辖的社区，因辖区居民多数为归侨而得名。它由竹坝华侨农场的两个管区合并而来，合并于2019年4月。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1960年，为安置自印度尼西亚等地接回的归侨，同安设立了国营竹坝华侨农场。[1][2]
此后农场又陆续接纳柬埔寨、缅甸、越南、泰国、菲律宾、新加坡与马来西亚等国的归侨，并先后设立新村管区和上寮管区。2019年4月，两个管区合并成立侨安社区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
侨安社区获授「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号，授予方为福建省爱国卫生运动委员会，时间在2022年底。[1]
