造水村位于汀溪镇西北部，地处汀溪水库上游，属于该水库二级饮用水源保护区的范围。村庄四面环山，溪流蜿蜒。种植台湾珍珠芭乐是村里的主要产业。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明初，郭姓族人从安岭山下的梨山保分支而来，在此定居。民国后期村地归美峰乡造水保，新中国成立后改称造林乡。1959年以后另设造水大队，隶汀溪公社；1961年划入五峰公社，1964年重归汀溪公社。1984年改设造水村委会，1991年随乡改镇。[1]

1949年，村民配合解放军解放同安。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，村里获「2023年厦门市一村一品专业村」认定，产品为造水芭乐。[1]
