历史沿革[edit]
清代村地属感化里的六都、七都、八都芸造溪保。民国后期它归美峰乡造林保管辖，新中国成立后曾称峰溪乡。1959年它成为汀溪公社的汪前大队，1961年划入五峰公社，1964年又归汀溪公社。1984年改设汪前村委会，1991年随乡改镇。[1]
社会服务[edit]
村内设有老年协会，成立于2016年。幸福院于2019年建成并投入运营，设床位10张，供村中老人使用。2022年，村里成立了工会委员会。[2]
