西源村位于汀溪镇西北部，下辖12个自然村，其中包括英田、土寨、龟仔山等。村内种植四季豆，2022年被认定为厦门市一村一品专业村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，村地属感化里六都至八都之间的西源保。民国后期它归美峰乡管辖；新中国成立后隶第三区西岭乡。1959年设汀溪公社西源大队，此后1961年改属上埔公社，1964年复归汀溪公社。1984年改为汀溪乡西源村委会，1991年随乡改镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，西源村名列「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」。2023年8月，它被认定为「2022年厦门市一村一品专业村」，产品是四季豆。[1]
