大乡村是福建省厦门市同安区洪塘镇的行政村，位于镇的西南部。[1]

村中纪姓人家的聚居历史可追溯到明代，村名先作后麝，后因分居而称大乡。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

纪姓人家最早居于麝山之下，村名因此作后麝。后来人丁繁衍，向周围分村居住，分出的人回称此地为大乡，全称后麝大乡或纪大乡。[1]

村姓渊源[edit]

据族谱，村中纪姓可追溯到南宋理宗开庆年间的进士纪忠简，名日，山东利津人。他因直言被贬入闽，后子孙迁居泉州、惠安。[2]

明洪武二年（1369年），纪子铭率二子迁居同安，最后定居在麝山之后，取村名「后麝社」，即今大乡。[2]
