尾林村在莲花镇政府驻地西北方向，离镇政府约35公里，只有1个自然村，村名与慈济岩相关。[1]
地名由来[edit]
明成化年间，村民从安溪县大竹溪迁到这里。据传村子建在慈济岩的尾部，岩边多树林，村名由此得来。[1]
人口与产业[edit]
村中住户94户，人口350人，设4个村民小组，年份未注。村子以农业为主，红茶是主要收入来源。2011年村集体收入7.36万元，人均纯收入7965元。[1]
沿革[edit]
清代此地归感化里六至八都的小坪保。民国时期隶属莲山乡杜川保，之后经杜川乡、杜川大队的建制变动；1958年曾称尾林生产队，1961年析出尾林大队，归云埔公社，1964年复归莲花公社。1984年设莲花乡尾林村委会。[1]
