白交祠村在莲花镇政府驻地西北方向，距离约26.5公里。村名原作「白狗祠」，后因方言读音雅化，改为今名。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名原作「白狗祠」。相传此地曾是畲族居住地，村中建祠供奉白狗，后来方言读音雅化，写成「白交祠」。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

博雅地名网记村中有294户、1034人，辖1个自然村，设9个村民小组，年份未注。村里以农业为主，茶叶与地瓜是主要收入。2011年村集体收入14.31万元，人均纯收入8018元。[1]

沿革[edit]

清代这里归感化里的上陵保管辖。1952年10月划归第五区西荣乡，其后又随西荣大队的建制变动；1961年析置白交祠大队，1984年设莲花乡白交祠村委会。[1]

  • 2018年10月，获农业农村部推介为「2018年中国美丽休闲乡村」。[1]
  • 2020年2月，列入「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单。[1]
  • 2020年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
  • 2021年2月，列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
  • 2021年11月，被认定为「2021年厦门市一村一品专业村」（地瓜）。[1][2]
